Review
blurbs about Gary's work:
"There is so much to reveal
and explore with this story. I have become enchanted and swept away into this story and
will be anticipating more of the "aura of mystery" that surrounds this
comic... I am in awe".---Paul Dale Roberts, Jazma Online Reviews
"The
best parts of the book involve the characters contemplating their lives. There's
a haunting scene about halfway through the book where Lilith talks about the
burning of Leningrad during the Nazi attack on the city that's reminiscent of
the best of Neil Gaiman."---Jason Sacks, Line of Fire Reviews
"Gary Reed has certainly
crafted a truly horrifying story, full of engaging characters, terrifying
menaces and an overwhelming sense of hopelessness".---Paul Milligan, World
Heavyweight Comics
"He sure knows how to pace his story and I have been enjoying
the freshness he puts into every single character".---Kenneth Gallant,
Broken Frontier

recent big projects but still has found time to illustrate his own work
including Devil’s Footprint with writer Scott Allie that has appeared at Dark
Horse Comics. Galen's
work has appeared in comics and books that have been nominated for six Harvey or
Eisner Awards.
Notable
titles:
JLA: Age of Wonder, Hellboy, Star Wars, Ring of the Nibelung, Elric:
Stormbringer, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Clowns (Pagliacci),

look at as well as read."---The Trades

also beautifully illustrated. Galen Showman does all the hard work..."---Alien

"Russells's
Pagliacci, a black-and-white collaboration with Galen Showman, is the most
dynamic in action, the most varied in angle of vision from panel to
panel…"---Booklist
"With
Showman's crisp art style, he's able to put a lot of detail into each panel
without making it look cluttered or distracting...There's a lot of nice
storytelling on display here"--icomics
