An anthology
featuring stories and selected coherent scenes from various comics and
graphic novels numbering over 300 pages. Short stories have appeared
in various issues such as High Caliber, Deadworld, Negative Burn, Caliber
Presents, and many others. Scenes include those from Baker Street,
Saint Germaine, Sinergy, Realm, Seeker, Magus, Ghost Sonata, No-Man's
Land, and others. In addition, there will be the first look at the
abandoned Beatles project with R.G. Taylor that was put on hold due to the
death of the publisher, Byron Preiss.
Each selection, chosen by Gary, will have a
prelude where Gary discusses the story or scene and what was the
motivation behind it, how it was to work with the artist, etc. There
are many art books spotlighting the creative process of artists and this
provides an opportunity for a writer to provide the same.
Gary has written a wide array of comics and
graphic novels in virtually every genre and the diverse offerings here
spotlight his insightful and often, thought provoking skills. He has been
nominated for numerous industry awards as writer, editor, publisher over
the years. The artists included here are diverse as well and many of
them are now some of the top names on high profile books.
